Completely different to the other yuckateco sauces. This goes great with eggs or in particular rancho’s juevo’s ive had the red and green versions of this sauce for over 10 years. each bottle does tend to vary in heat. but the taste is lovely. the green for chicken tortilla wraps is perfect..

I do not understand why this is such a popular sauce. The flavour is vile. It actually tastes like licking an old dirty carpet full of dust which has not been cleaned for 60 years. It has a very weird fungus-like flavour which also resembles old unwashed shirts, especially ones from the 1920s which were collarless. I’d give it a negative rating if I could. If I ever feel the need to experience this sauce, I will just eat a Habanero pepper whilst licking an old dusty carpet. It is a very nasty sauce indeed. Thumbs down from me.
